After one chance meeting on New Years Eve in 2016, Gerald Wala and Grant Rutups (Want of Peace) stayed in touch on Instagram until one day in late 2020 they felt the sudden urge to collaborate. Both minds were locked into the same sound palettes as their love of soul music inspired them to construct fresh new tracks literally out of nowhere. You may call it divine intervention, as the finished product strikes a chord within, completely tying the listener to a deeper moment in this reality.
