These two musical brothers hail from Brisbane Australia. Gerard currently lives in Paris, France, where he is completing his master of music degree at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) in classical Double Bass. Leo has also studied music, completing a master of music degree at the New England Conservatory (NEC) in Boston, Massachusetts. Both brothers also completed bachelor of music degrees at the Queensland conservatorium, Brisbane Australia. Having played together for many years in a vast array of contexts, each brother possesses an instinctive knowledge of the other's playing style. Both bring something unique to the sound and the collective result is much greater than the sum of its parts. 2016 sees the brothers launch their group: "Gerard and Leo McFadden". Their debut album, "light shade light", will follow in early 2017, with a limited "street edition" EP available to those who are lucky enough to catch these brothers playing
