Geri is a music project from actress/singer/songwriter Geraldine Hakewill. Teaming up with producer/engineer Anna Laverty (Florence and The Machine, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Meg Mac), Geri recorded her debut EP ‘You’ve Never Seen This Smile’ in late 2017. Exploring the worlds of folk, pop and jazz she's been working with artists that traverse many genres including Australia’s foremost improviser of new music, Jim Denley, and singer/songwriter Nick Van Breda from emo-banjo duo Pinch Hitter. With a disarming voice and intimate lyricism, the music is delicate and raw, making you feel all your feelings.
