Gerry Beckley, co-founder and member of the legendary rock group America for 50 years, is a superb singer/songwriter, and a master of popular composition. Whether as the lead vocalist or in harmony on his group’s classic singles or on solo projects, there’s something in Beckley’s work that skews toward the edge. Nothing exemplifies this better than his latest album–the shimmering Carousel.
