Gerry Rival is a singer song writer from Melbourne who has been writing songs and playing in bands for over 20 years. While coming from an Indie and Punk Rock background he has also drawn influences from a wide range of artists and styles; from Alternative Country to Americana to roots, he has found his own unique style. Blending melody and emotive guitar work to create a compelling sound that carries his seemingly simple yet thought provoking lyrics. After having bands break up just when they were on the verge of getting somewhere, he decided it was time to go solo and recruit various other talented musicians to make his visions come to life. And the Wheels and Fire were born.
