It all started when Larry Holcombe was the victim of an armed robbery whilst studying for a Biology and French degree in the South of France. The insurance money was used to pay for a basic studio setup and having experimented producing Drum and Bass and Dubstep initially, Larry changed course and Get To Know was born. An experiment to attempt to join the dots between a love of Disco, Soul and Boogie and happy memories of jamming in bad indie bands, Get To Know makes DIY Soul/Disco samples and then chops them up to create sun drenched nuggets of Electronic Soul for the dancefloor.
