We like Playschool.

Ghost Note City was first conceived in 2014 when guitarist/singer Douglas was encouraged and inspired by his wife to finish recording the songs that had been sitting on his computer for years...and to move to London to conquer the Uk music scene. These once unfinished tracks soon became Ghost Note City’s debut EP titled “Stained Glass Skin”, which was released a few months after moving to London. Douglas moved into a house share with a drummer and they playing a few live shows at venues including the famous ‘Troubadour’ and ‘Dublin Castle’. Doug made the move back to to Tasmania where he would continue as a solo project. Shortly after to moving home to Launceston, and in the midst of 2021, fate would bring two new members into the fold and the band was to live another day! Ghost Note City’s sound can be described as guitar driven alternative metal, influenced by bands such as Thrice, Karnivool and Silverchair. Their high impact sound and catchy riffs will have you toes tapping.
