After 25 years dedicated to honing his guitar and other music skills, Ghost of Aquarius (Ben Elphick) embarks on his solo debut, fusing elements from the music that inspired a lifetime of listening and creating. Drawing from the 80s, alternative rock, progressive, electronic, metal and even jazz genres; his first offering unveils a fresh collaboration of the aforementioned influences, nodding respectfully to artists like Radiohead, Tool, Deftones, Cog and many others that came before. The tracks written between mid 2021 and now, were born out of an intense period of existential dread and introspection, crystallising Ghost's emotions and cognitions in what was a challenging but nevertheless real part of his human experience. Featuring the unique and musical expertise of some of Australia's greatest musicians including Jon Stockman, and Leigh Davies accompanying Ghost's voice, guitar and electronic instrumentation; Ghost of Aquarius's debut is an appointment not to be missed!
