13 sees Gilroy re-born, re-aligned, re-designed and sporting a lovely new haircut. First release “Kind of Lost” is taken from 2012 sessions at Tone City Recording Studio in Scarborough, WA, with producer Sam Ford (Abbe May, Pond, good at kitchen cleaning) The song's lyrics represent a subtle nod towards those few underground troops maintaining cynicism over our home society’s crane-necked march towards a pain free existence. It’s also got a pretty sweet chorus. A philosophical dilemma wrapped in an ear-worm, the song is a preview of Gilroy’s sound for 2013, with further singles to follow in coming months.
