Coming out of Melbourne's west is Giovanni 'Gio' Agosta, a vibrant hip-hop artist. Gio explains that he "was a massive fan of Bob Dylan, he didn't need to have a great voice or production but when he spoke, you listened". I didn't want to be just a rapper anymore, I wanted to hit the right notes, I wanted listeners to think wow, he actually knows what his doing". Over the past 18 months, Gio has shared a stage with artists such as Stretchy, Remi, N'fa Jones, Mind Over Matter, Tuka & M-Phazes to name a few. Gio is currently working on his debut EP set for release in early 2018. Gio is definitely going to be a new resonant artist in the near future so be sure to check him out at an upcoming show or have a tune in to his music.

Melbourne based alternative electronic artist hailing from the Eastern burbs. Rookie and a half with a bad pizza habit.

I'm the greatest rapper in Australia.

In 2014, this former Soundcloud rapper, Gio, decided to take music seriously. The only one of his friends to agree was a gentleman, named Steve. Together, along with associate CDUDDS, they formed what is now solidified as Team Gio Music. Although their parents are not proud, they spend their days creating the most outrageous, most electrifying music described by some as God's work. And by god, we really mean Group of Drunks. Hallelujah!
