Glenn Hopper is a tall, bookish and humorous guy who grew up in the Blue Mountains and spent a lot of time in the bush and playing piano. He is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, artist and producer, now based in the creative hub of Sydney’s inner west. Under his production name LEN20, Glenn has credits with the likes of Lil Nas X, Mary J. Blige, Kid Cudi, Cordae, YG, Nas and many more. Following up his melancholic debut single, that was the genesis for his recently completed month-long residency at Sydney’s prestigious Golden Age, Glenn Hopper adds this solo omnibus to his collection of credits with the shimmering piano ballad 'Easy Way Out', alongside news of his first EP Something About The Weather which will arrive on Friday, 13th October. Something About The Weather is a meditation on the human experience. Hopper's curiosity about life and meaning has lead to an attraction to mystery that has pulled him deep into introspective isolation, and pushed him outward into a whirlwind of music, parties, great friendships and big loves. He is someone who says yes to both options and enquires about what lies in between in his classic songwriting. Across its five tracks, the EP deals with accounts of love and heartbreak, self doubt and self love, growth, acceptance of the unknown, a search for the sublime, finding beauty in the every day, the weather, time, and trees.
