Global Exit properly started with Josh on bass and vocals, Nick on the drums and Saxon on guitar. The first jam session was in Saxon's shed, where they recorded 'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica and 'Project 23'. This was to give to the youth week people as it was a requirement in order to get on the youth week bill. In a short amount of time they wrote 5 songs and recorded them on their first demo, this demo included the original songs titled, 'Liberate', 'Mouldy Carpet', 'Killing me with Silence', 'Detach' and 'Project 23'. Only 2 of these songs are played now days, being 'Mouldy Carpet' and 'Project 23'. No-one knows what happened to the few copies of this recording. Rumours are that Brettox After Niyne has one hidden somewhere. The Global Exit boys have decided that it would be best to leave the recording unheard. The next year they played at another youth week thing at the new skate park and on that day they met the singing sensation Gavin. After the gig, which he missed
