Growing up in the rural outskirts of Sydney, Gnali is an emerging young artist with a raw lyrical style that evokes an authenticity beyond her years. Song writing has been a long time interest, sparked by a lifelong love of music, with early exposure to sounds of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s contributing to Gnali’s lyrical style. Key influences like Placebo, Radiohead, Starky, Arctic Monkeys and Pink Floyd have been key in developing Gnali’s song writing characteristics and alternative rock style. Triple J’s Unearthed High is Gnali’s first public release.
