GOAT is HP Lovecraft's worst nightmare, a doom duo with lava drenched guitars, hulking drums and a thirst for blood. The band released its debut EP 'Sign of the Dead' in 2012 to critical acclaim, grabbing the local feature album on RTRFM and a nomination for the WAM Song of The Year for lead single 'Bury The King'. GOAT has supported Whitehorse (VIC), Arrowhead (VIC), Broozer (NSW), and will head to Studio Sleepwalker's Dread in late 2013 to record new material for an upcoming vinyl release. "Anything but generic...the amount of noise these two managed to make was impressive." -Liana Kelly (Xpress Magazine) “(GOAT) rolled through their set like a Sabbath-inspired Beast...” -Mike Bowring (Drum Media)
