Naarm/Melbourne-based surf-punk quartet Going Swimming have just returned from hiatus with their chaotic new single 'All Dressed Up To Cry' – produced by the band and mixed by Rohan Sforcina (Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Adalita). 'All Dressed Up To Cry' is a frenetic cut of blistering indie-punk led by the growling vocals of lead singer Nicholas Leggatt. The track's choruses erupt with chunking, distorted guitars before providing an eerie reprieve through the bridge's haunting, reverb-laced solo. Shouting backing vocals add to the furious finale, creating a fitting end to a blazing punk exemplar. "Wanted to turn this up but it's already cranking." - ★★★★ Dave Ruby Howe - triple j Unearthed (AUS) "Big, bolstering surfy garage rock." Pedestrian TV (AUS) "A raucous collection of unbridled garage rock and a whole lotta fun, full with drenched surf-rock riffs, a pounding rhythm section and heaps of energy." Trouble Juice (AUS)
