Formed in 1993 after the fallout of their previous band, "Johnny was the sidekick to the fallen hero hamradioman" Nikki and Jason decided to bring their upbeat and obscure underground blend of death metal, electronica and nu-folk to life, Thus, "Good Business" was formed. Playing shows for many years, Good Business got their break when they were invited to play the SXSW festival in 1998. Upstaging huge bands of the time such as thin lizzy and iron maiden, Good Business rocked the crowds and create a new genre of music, only to be taken away from them by song stealing big haired ladyboys "The Mars Volta"
