Goodbye Horizontal is a reference to insomnia. In life he carried a guitar and documented people and himself through music. Mental health services and homelessness forged a honest, candid and raw view of the world. You take a teenage guy with many labels run him through the system electroshock him and ignite a fuse that sparks a life of music. A guitar will never cheat, lie, leave you or steal your wallet and help you look for it. Keep and help your mates and do what makes you happy, don't lose that in you.
