What really can we say about Goonslag, well the original concept came together in early 2005 when a few guys with a genuine love for cheap goon decided to make a band to boast solos. Hailing from Adelaide (not really proud of it either), and breaking the usual boundaries of a guitar, bass, drums and singer line up, this band of goonheads use lead keyboards and guitars synced to make an in your face slag metal sound, with vocals resembling old school fat mike from NOFX, we think so anyway. Thats right, no bass guitar (bass is for the weak). Encouraging the drinking of goon amongst people of all ages (lots of it), and making music that just bloody fun to listen to. And no, lex is not a terribly huge fan of the genre otherwise known as hardcore. Oh yeah and we are really not sure why are vocals arent playing on the songs, they are full version songs and should have vocals. check our myspace for full version! sorry for the pain in the ass!
