Inspired by his inner paradox of gothic tendencies yet cheerful demeanour, Gordon Wallace (who is also the guitarist in The Crooked Fiddle Band) has extracted and combined the dark essence of grindcore, psytrance and drum and bass with the uplifting energy of trance and break beats, transmogrifying them into an amalgam of intensity, intricacy and groove - a disturbing soundscape of happy misery that he calls Freakbeats.
