Grant Walker is a music producer, songwriter and instrumentalist from the Northern Rivers of Australia Albatross Release date Globally 06/07/24 This song idea came to me whilst surfing last light, inspired lyrically watching an albatross search for food amongst the seagulls. I spent the next day writing the lyrics on a cliff next to the ocean, choosing the key of Gm and the finding the main guitar riff. In a music shop, a wooden flute stood out to me with a bird carved on top, turning it over to find its also in Gm, it’s element now ties the song together with a calling element to the albatross, and a call and response to the spoken vocals. It was an awesome experience collaborating with @jj_james_art for the artwork! Listening to the track whilst painting it has given it a visual reality! Albatross single launch 6th July! 7-10pm Hear it live amongst 30 other fun tracks 🎸 @whiskyloungemudgeeraba
