Greentease came together from a barren wilderness of Tasmania, full of no-hopers and exploitative greed-mongers. It's hard to pin Bob down for too long as you may have guessed, but we managed one weekend to record the Bob Brown Campfire Song at a little studio atop a gully of native wilderness, currently in danger of having it's water source contaminated from aerial spraying. Lovingly put together and mixed, it was then mastered in NZ and ours to give. We celebrate a man who puts himself in the path of vitriol for those Australians he represents in the Senate, and champion for world citizens towards peace and an end to poverty, human rights abuses, war, genocide and the list goes on. The North West of Tasmania is a sparsely populated series of towns not quite big enough to be cities, but far enough away from each other to be remote. Wynyard has 70% population on a government benefit of some kind and yet Smithton up the road has the highest population of millionaires in Tasmania.
