Kowalsky began composing and performing electro-acoustic music using cassette tape loops, sine oscillators.His work explores multi channel, site-specific performances with a focus on psychoacoustic phenomena. He currently resides in Los Angeles after a decade in Oakland, California where he completed a MFA in Electronic Music and Recording Media at under the guidance of Fred Frith, Maggie Payne
