Tasmanian singer/songwriter Gretel Templeton brings us her own twist on lyrical-folk, combining smooth melodies with layers of gentle harmonies, strings and fat acoustic guitars. Finding much inspiration from the natural beauty of Tasmania, this can be heard in the flowing contours of Gretel’s natural vocal tone and the story-telling style of her lyric writing. Recently returning home from 18 months living overseas, the direction of Gretel’s music has taken a new turn, with a few new tales to tell and journeys to take you on.
