Grey Turns Blonde are four surfing friends that have been a D.I.Y bedroom recording project in the heart of Bondi through the love of creativity and music. We are based in the inner city of Kings Cross and Bondi which blends into the surf and art rock angle. We love sonic sounds, confusion with a taste of the beach life! The philosophy of Garage music is a major influence, and we have recorded 3 tracks with Burke Reid (producer) in Big Jesus Burger Studios. After performing live on the spot songs with SWAA and featuring on TVS, the band has gone on to perform in some of Sydney's most famous venues. We are in the process of recording some new material and mastering our live shows. The latest single - Ice Blue has introduced an 80's keyboard and was recorded and produced by Simon Todkill, Studio 301.Three more new tracks have also been recorded in our home studio in Bondi, to round out our new EP. Our style is to capture where corporate life meets neon surfy sunsets!
