Grinny’n‘T are from two different times and places; and have separate perspectives and influences, the combination of which has provided a unique sound that Australian Hip Hop has definitely been waiting for. Though meeting through a mutual friend in 2002, it would be at least another two years before the new hip-hop duo from Melbourne, Grinny’n‘T, would start work on what later would be known as the “Twist of Fate E.P”. Grinny, (producer/mc, 26), began training in contemporary piano from the age of 5 and has never stopped studying. Self taught in guitar, bass and drums, he has built on his original foundation of piano and has been producing beats for over 4 years now.
