GRIYA means a "home for the soul." Our stories are of the real and the unreal, the magical and the mysterious. Eerie, delicate electric guitar, with dark and heartfelt tones. A Rock n' Soul sound with grit and gold. Hailing from the eastern hills of Melbourne, we draw inspiration from folklore tales, and gunslinger love. With Alexandra Isobella at the helm, her dark rhaspy tones lead the siege of gentlemen behind her into the depths of a dreamy, war scape of sound. GRIYA will leave you with a mixture of nostalgia, wistfulness and ambivalence. Dark, heartfelt and soulful.
