The Grouse are a 4-piece rock band from Clarence, Tasmania who love to belt out some tunes. They were started by three mates in primary school and then formed as a full 5-piece when reaching high school. Rhythm guitarist Rob went on to pursue bigger and better things with The Shitkicks while The Grouse continued to dominate. They recently recorded at Rosny College and our profile song is the result of that. The song "James Joins The Liberal Party" was written in 5 minutes in true punk style, and is about how much we all really do love to write songs about nothing in particular
