Gullivan is a singer/songwriter currently residing in Ballarat. His passion for music and performing is unmistakable. Gullivan’s collection of songs, spanning ten years, reflects on his journey and growth as a small-town songwriter. Having supported touring artists such as Jack Carty, Tim McMillian and Betty and Oswald, Gullivan is able to swoon audiences with his melodic vocal lines and rustic guitar tones. Taking some of his stronger originals and a handful of reinvented covers, he is ready to charm audiences across the region. With an acoustic, sentimental ‘folk’ styling similar to that of Josh Pyke, Jeff Buckley and Paul Dempsey, Gullivan’s nostalgic sound and dreamlike lyrics remind listeners of home and the importance of change.
