Come with uncle and hear all proper. Hear angel trumpets and devil trombones. You are invited. Gutter Plant is a solo project by Brisbane based artist Josiah Padget. The aim is to make catchy tunes without the limitations of genres or artistic styles. Currently recording music that ranges from dance to borderline grunge. Lyrics vary between simple earworms to confronting insights to the psyche. Not conforming to a sound, Gutter Plant is unafraid to explore boundaries, creating a noise buffet with the hope of reaching at least one eargasm. The project takes inspiration from various artist including Brand New, The Cure, New Order, Stardust, Smashing Pumpkins and The Killers.
