After many years devoted to playing, writing and supporting mainstream hard rock acts, I found myself always drawn to my independent writing. They are dark, and disturbing and are often suggestive of Satanic overtones. A genre I term as "Dirt Metal" as the are a fusion between dark and other rock metal styles. They, like me are often perceived as disturbed but as John Lennon once said, "their just words" aren't they?
