Known for the mysterious aura that surrounds the moniker, the Australian-Korean music producer, h.eund’s propensity towards a boundless approach to music has grabbed the attention of many taste makers since her debut in 2016 – “Mango Bongo”. Born to a musician father and an artist mother, at the heart of h.eund’s work is in her ability to create from a space where the boundaries of creative mediums are blurred. It is in the way that she treats sound as shapes, colours and abstract forms that give rise to the qualities of: “Transcending the genre (FBi Radio)”, “Totally different from the last (Triple J)”, “Visceral portrayal (Utility Fog)” and “Fizzing, busy little miniverses (Tone Deaf)”. h.eund’s latest projects are set to explore a more sophisticated, philosophical part of her inner world. This new chapter has its aim in telling the story about her many transformative life events and the existential questions that haunt her in her most bazaar, abstract dreams.
