Happy Accidents became a band in the early months of 2007. For the first half of the year the boys just jammed with one another becoming more comfortable music wise. Zac Connelly, Jarrod Nugara, Ben Tyler and Kieran Rafferty, as 12 year olds at the time, all loved music and had know each other for only 3 months when the band started but they could tell that they all had multiple things in common. Ben and Kieran had know each other since year three and were already close to best mates when Jarrod and Zac came to school. The first half of the year was quite slow, until about mid way through august when the band played at their first Battle of the Bands (All covers) and came in first place. This gave the band a lot of inspiration and they could tell they were going to stay tight and keep on practicing.
