Haptics is a songwriter, producer, musician, and DJ based in Adelaide who creates electronic music. She has independently released over 20 tracks spanning the genres of pop, dance, house, and techno, and continually re-defines her sound as she finds new inspirations. From musical beginnings as an acoustic singer-songwriter, over time she has gravitated towards the technical side of music creation, honing her skills as a producer and incorporating electronic instruments, faster tempos, and deeper basses into her tracks. Over the past two years she has translated her songs to a live format through several gigs in Adelaide’s local scene, performing her tracks live using a MIDI controller and processed vocals. She also picked up DJ-ing to explore another side of electronic music, and occasionally includes original productions in her sets. With releases scheduled throughout 2025, Haptics has a lot in the works and only bigger plans for the future.
