Upcoming Melbourne pop artist Harold Maxwell is set to release his brand new single 'In the Dark' on 27th November 2016. A song about 'deep love connection between two souls', In the Dark is an extremely catchy synthpop track with a powerful bass but also very melodic at the same time. Melbourne producer Michael Davidzon (Orion Starz Productions) had blended a pop sound with electronica and disco for the track, quite reminiscent of UK's Pet Shop Boys and Calvin Harris circa 2009. "I initially wrote the lyrics with a scene set in my mind at a nightclub where two people meet and fall in love at first sight. The song is about connecting with someone on a spiritual level. I feel that when you close your eyes, shut out all the world's physical things and happenings you sort of find that dark subconscious space. If one can sense a connection or longing with someone here it truly is a whole new level of love than just an infatuation." Harold says of the song's lyrical meaning. The song is
