Hassle Street is group of students from Thomas Hassall Anglican College in southwest Sydney that share a passion to perform and compose music. Having all started playing music and singing from a young age, they have grown up together and shared many musical experiences which have paved the way for their achievements to date. Nicola, Holly, Tinashe, Josh, Pierson, Tom, Tahlia and Petar are all members of the Senior Stage Band at their school, and have performed at various community events and festivals, including Manly Jazz Festival, Berry Festival, Generations in Jazz (SA), Royal Easter Show, Camden Show, Sydney’s SouthWest Festival, and are hoping to have the opportunity to create their first album of original music in the near future. Together, they have a broad range of musical influences and styles, including funk fusion from the likes of Herbie Hancock and Jaco Pastorius, to Pop with admiration of Ruel and Taylor Swift, as well as Jazz and Classical influences.
