Why are we HASTE? Good question, I don't know. Is it the letters from our first names combined... maybe. I guess we'll never know... Hang on, actually though here's the real story. We are a newborn band of a few months, formed in the intellectual pressure cooker of university. We kind of had to, I mean, we didn't have a choice, the music school just gave us to one another and then abandoned us in our Semester 1 wilderness. But, as unusual and unexpected and truly rare as it is in these sorts of cases, we actually really like each other and so we're going to stick together. Best Friends 5eva was an alternative name for our band but perhaps that can just remain in our hearts.
