Being a piano player, I always found it hard to connect with songwriting as piano-playing technique found in popular music can be very static and dull. So I decided to combine the rhythmic finger picking playing style from guitars with the sound of the piano to create my own style of accompaniment for my songs. While my songs could be classed as country I try to branch out into other genres such as jazz and ballads.
