Toronto born, Melbourne local artist Hayku Kyah explores themes of inner and outer space through rhythmic use of the English language. Her music is the embodiment of etherealism– creating narratives that ultimately seek to challenge the phantasm we live in; painting vivid imagery with sometimes nothing but her voice. Formerly known as ‘Consciously Kyah’, she has taken stage at Strawberry Fields Festival, various Melbourne Music Week events, her own production titled ‘Seeping’ at Melbourne Fringe Festival, Melbourne Writers Festival, and a number of other esteemed productions.
