Born in Melbourne, Hayley Cox played piano as a young girl and shortly after she began to sing in the school choir. Her love for music continued through her youth and she went on to study music at JMC Academy in Melbourne. She made her first self titled EP with Phil Turcio, and has gone on to complete her second EP ‘Ordinary Escape’ with Sam Panetta at Byrneside Music Management. Growing up, Hayley listened to a whole range of music, including: The Verve, Moby, Incubus, Colplay... the list goes on. Inspiration for Hayley’s music has come from Australian female artists such as Missy Higgins, Claire Bowditch and Katie Noonan, and Hayley has since established her own unique song-writing style. Hayley aspires to be a great Australian singer/songwriter who one day shares the stage with her idols.
