Head Clouds is a 4 piece band originally from the Gold Coast, now based in Melbourne. Comprised of Jayke Maddison, George Carpenter, Mariano Trevino & Karl S. Williams; they make indie rock in the vein of lyric-conscious seminaries of the last few decades such as Bright Eyes, the Mountain Goats & Cass McCombs. They released their debut album in 2014, 'Up On Hellfire Ridge', from which second single 'Admission Slip' gained traction on various music blogs such as Canada's HillyDilly.com. 'EP' released in the following year also gave some additional exposure for the group, primarily through single 'Clothed & Unclothed' on Triple J & RRR. 'Black Ribbon' is the band's latest single which sees them expand & solidify their brand of emotive and highly melodic indie rock.
