How's it Going? Healing Sounds is the artist name of Nathan George a Singer/Songwriter originally from Sydney Australia. He plays an instrument called a Hang while he sings and runs backing tracks from his 1st album. The Hang is a melodic percussion instrument that was developed in the year 2000 in Switzerland. It is still a rare instrument and the beautiful sound it creates is intoxicating. Initially Nathan was a drummer in a Heavy Metal band. After School he became interested in electronic music and started to explore the wonders of computer music. He then started to develop his soothing baritone and play the Acoustic Guitar. Folk and Blues became his focus "I started to write lyrics I was proud of and wanted to convey what I have learned about life to others". Many of the songs from his debut album release "Alone Without Thought" are old songs that were adapted for the Hang.
