Eora/Sydney-based producer and instrumentalist heartholder steps into a new musical lane while paying homage to boundary-pushing nu jazz and electronic music in Australia and globally. Inspired by artists as diverse as Yussef Dayes, Vegyn, Overmono, Nala Sinephro, RJD2, and Skin On Skin, heartholder pushes jazz into new territory with distorted saxophone and chopped jazz breaks mixed with vocals inspired by UK grime and drill.
