Ben and Kirsty have been playing music together for almost 10 years now. Back in 2008 they started the band "The Kirbens" which they eventually changed the name to "The Gypsie Howls". After success at Nannup Festival, Fairbridge Festival, WAMi Festival, a whole bunch of gigs an EP launch and a single launch they called it quits and all moved on.  In mid 2017 Ben and Kirsty decided to revisit their love of music and relaunch as brand new band. So they teamed up with a new drummer and bass player and set to work. It didn’t take long for the sound to develop and Hector Protector was born. In September they jumped into the studio to record a brand new song “I’m Not Here”. Hector Protector’s new sound is a blend of rock and pop with synths and powerful harmonies.
