Raised in the UK and performing across Europe before settling in Melbourne in 2018, Hedchef’s club-focused, off-kilter electro and techno cuts can be regularly heard in DJ sets by Detroit In Effect, Jensen Interceptor, Solid Blake, Kettama, Madam X, I Hate Models and Object Blue, amongst many others. Behind the decks, his blend of locked breakbeat grooves, space-age synths and no-nonsense low-end thump creates an unpredictable approach to club sonics, both across Melbourne and on his own monthly show on London’s Threads Radio.
