Fronted as HEENEY, 22-year old singer/songwriter and producer Jess Heeney invites her listeners into her therapy room as she confronts the struggles of young adulthood, all while being too independent for her own good. After packing her life into her car and moving across the country, the now Sydney-based local is making a dignified mark on the music scene with her hard-hitting conversational lyricism draped behind lush pop melodies that you just can’t help but dance to. With a passion for both intuitive songwriting and the meticulous technicalities of producing, she tastefully pushes the boundaries of trending pop by blending elements of electronic, hyper-pop and R&B, carving an untouched path for her sound in a sonic universe surrounded by the likes of Ariana Grande, CXLOE, Griff and Peach PRC.
