Australian singer-songwriter Heidi Hibberd is an engaging performer, with rootsy fingerpicking guitar, distinctive Aussie vocals, and great songs which have been known to make people laugh and cry. Heidi grew up as one of eight children, and lived all around Australia. Inbetween sleeping barefoot under the stars and sneaking into rock concerts, Heidi lived in an assortment of interesting places such as an Aboriginal community, a funeral parlour, a house sliding downhill, a rotting terrace and her car. She’s hitch-hiked South-east Queensland, the length of NSW and halfway across Victoria, whilst pregnant, and after all that, it’s no surprise that Heidi has a lot to write about. Tackling a diverse range of topics, from motherhood and suburbia to racism and relationships, Heidi’s songs combine raw heartfelt honesty with a witty satirical edge which is funny, entertaining and thoughtful. Described as ‘well structured’ and ‘hard to fault’ at The National Jaxter Artist Awards (2005),
