Helen Begley is a Melbourne Singer/Songwriter with a prevailing interest in writing and presenting song cycles that become albums. Her latest fare is the album called “West Brunswick”. This truly local work records the highlights of living in Melbourne’s Inner North. Not only are all the songs written about West Brunswick the album also produced, recorded, designed and printed in Brunswick. In keeping with the suburban nature of the album, Helen and a movable feast of fine musicians, collectively known as The Suburban Dreamers, are currently touring the “West Brunswick” album as a set of house concerts in lounge rooms and kitchens across Melbourne, including West Brunswick, regional Victoria and interstate. Helen has appeared in many festivals over the years as a solo artist and with Melbourne Folk band, "Milk" as well as touring nationally.
