With a sound like the bastard child of Black Sabbath and Queens Of The Stone Age, Brisbane alternative two-piece HELLA HAUNTS unleash their debut single "Bleeding in the Dark". Laced with infectious vocal hooks, thunderous drums and a pummelling bass line, "Bleeding in the Dark" is the first of many singles to be released by the end of the year. The song pays homage to the likes of big riff maestros Rage Against The Machine and The white Stripes, and explores the themes of gluttony and hedonism. On mixing the track, local producer/guitarist Tristan Chu quotes "From the opening notes of this song, I immediately visualised the feeling of being back at a music festival with my arms around my mates. My goal was to emphasise the weight of this band's stomping rhythm and to highlight the moments you should be singing along!" HELLA HAUNTS was formed by singer/bass player Jay Haddon and drummer Calvin Gosney after bonding over their mutual love for music and the Arts. Rather than waste
