Edit history

Hellhound Brown is the alter ego of singer guitarist Patch Brown from Melbourne band Hellhounds. Brown spent several years playing music in London and Europe, meeting and learning from legendary survivors of the 60's. This included Jim McCarty from The Yardbirds who he had the pleasure of playing with and whose stories of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton changed him for life. Creating a unique sound on steel resonator guitar and incorporating feedback with stomp box, Hellhound Brown crosses American blues with 60's psychedelia. Two separate tours of Europe have sealed his top hat wearing persona and allowed him to extemporise musically to create an intimate show of auditory hallucinations. With a new album due out later in 2012, Hellhound Brown is performing in and around Melbourne and the east coast before heading back to Europe in September.
