Helvetica Noise - a writer, a musician & a noise artist - fuse improvisation, procedure, experimentation & composition to create unfolding soundscapes. Moments in time that you’ll never hear the same way twice. As fleeting as moths under streetlights. The trio met in the thriving underground arts & music scene on the Gadigal land of Marrickville, Sydney, Australia in 2018. They have since performed at various fringe word/poetry and music festivals & arts events, including The World’s Smallest Festival & King Street Crawl, a bespoke sold-out show entitled Not Relatable, sold out single launch at Annandale Creative Arts Centre in 2024 & the Inner West Council’s Midjuburi/Edge Festival several years’ running. Through 2022 to 2024, Helvetica Noise recorded a suite of 6 EPs, slated for mixing & subsequent release over the next few years. The first EP, 'Lost In The Dust Factory', was released in November 2024, preceeded by the single 'How To Listen To Storms' in May 2024, complete with a film noir inspired dark and storm-ridden music video.
